Ventana al Mar is an architecturally designed home offering 3 beautiful bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.

Decorated in a relaxed tropical style, beautiful colors, local art, iron work and artistic tile work run throughout the house. You will experience vast ocean views from every room in the house. Each of the bedrooms offers privacy with its own bathroom and terrace as well as ceiling fans, air conditioning and screened windows for your sleeping comfort.

The large open living room under a soaring 30 foot palapa is the perfect place to relax with family and friends, have a movie night, play games or simply watch the sunset over the blue pacific.

The kitchen and dining areas are outfitted with everything you will need to make delicious meals. As well as coffee maker, grinder, blender, ice maker and microwave. In addition the entire house has a water purification system. Enjoy a leisurely dinner seated at the beautiful handcrafted copper dining table.

Ventana al Mar boasts one of Sayulita’s state of the art salt water pools. The private tropical grounds surrounding the pool area are filled with palms, red ginger, bananas bougainvillea and heliconia. There is a shady poolside palapa, built in gas barbeque, outdoor sink, refrigerator and shower. The perfect spot to blend up some margaritas and grill some of the local catch of the day. Or just lounge poolside with one of the many books the house has to offer.

Ventana al Mar is located on the quiet and tranquil north end of Sayulita. A 2 minute walk down a cobblestone path takes you to the beach and a 10 minute walk takes you to town.

Depending on your individual needs there are numerous car rental agencies available or we can arrange for roundtrip airport pick up along with a grocery stop.

Children are welcome at Ventana al Mar, however please be aware that like many Villas in Sayulita there are steep drop offs and open balconies and therefore toddlers and small children would require special attention.

"Regretfully, I have just returned from the most amazing, enchanting, and relaxing experience at Ventana al Mar. I have traveled all over the world and fell immediately in L-O-V-E with Sayulita and Ventana al Mar. The initial shock of the beauty did not dissipate but was reaffirmed with every gorgeous sunset (think purples, oranges, pinks, and reds), every outdoor shower, and every dip in the perfect pool. If I could have any wish in the world it would be to live in ventana al Mar year round. The house was perfect in everyway with great attention to detail and ammenities. We overindulged in killer views of the jungle and ocean, the warm pool, delightful fluffy towels, grill, AC, endless DVD's, the list goes on and on. It was great fun living in an open setting and then retreating to our room for privacy. The housekeep even taught us how to make authentic margaritas. I was queen for a week and delighted in every moment of it. I will never forget my visit and can attest this being the BEST birthday weekend ever. I am already making plans to visit again within the year. "

"This home was like staying on our own personal 5 star hotel with a personal staff to care for us. When I show people the photos they are universally awestruck by the beauty, color, and comfort of Ventana al Mar. We stayed with my family ranging from a 70 year old Grandma to a 7 year old neice, and everyone said that this was by far our best family vacation yet. The rooms are nicely separate and each very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen and family room were the hub to which we all gathered for fresh meals, games, yoga, movies, and breathtaking views of the bay. The living room and dining room overlook the pool, where the kids were able to spend 95% of their time and be supervised from above - and frequently joined because it was so inviting! Sayulita itself is a lovely town with excellent food, shopping, beaches, and welcoming people. It was helpful to have the email of information before we left, and a book of local information handy at the house. I have already booked my next visit! "
